I thought he was a little strange at the beginning and by the end, I knew I wasn't wrong.
He was strange at the beginning and things just got worse.
From the beginning I think it is clear that Dougie has a number of obsessions. Fire, The Bridge, the cheerleader, Andy...
At the end, he just comes across as "out of touch with reality."
I though he was a geek and a loner.
intelligent to the point of alienation, unable to understand certain human behaviors that others take for granted. but essentially sane... i thought.
I read reviews on amazon before actually starting the novel so I knew he was crazy
I figured it out by the 3rd Chapter. At first, I thought that Andy was Doug's imaginary friend.
